Andrew Koo - ST1 West Yorkshire Deanery
Andrew graduated with MBBS (merit) from Newcastle Medical School in 2010. He continued his Foundation Training in North West Thames and became involved with Medical Education by being appointed as a Clinical Education Fellow for Imperial medical students. He furthered his training by completing 2 years of Acute Care Common Stem which included Emergency Med, Acute Med, ICU & Anaesthetics before starting his training in Radiology.
Andrew chose academy training and is currently at Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust. Passed FRCR Anatomy & Physics in March 2015.
Hefina Whiteley-Jones - ST1 Sussex Deanery
Hefina graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2006 with intercalated BSc (Hons) in Clinical Medicine and Haematology and in 2009 with MBBS (Merit). She completed foundation training in North East Thames and during this time she set up a regional teaching course for final year medical students that was eventually delivered nationally and integrated by a London medical school into their final year curriculum. She then moved on to Core Surgical Training in Yorkshire and complemented this with a further year of Emergency Medicine and a year of research before starting Radiology training. Hefina opted for traditional deanery training in Sussex and currently works at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals.
